My CL's didn't Fred, still want to pipe on about a bad batch that happened years ago? Might as well bring up EBC's, AST's and that lot then when they 'were' s**t.
That's the reason they're poor, the price and the fact they crumble like mad at a small amount of track time. I personally rate EBC bluestuffs over them everyday day and they're near half the price! I remember seeing Sir_Daves DS's when we were swapping pads about and I was genuinely shocked!
Can you explain to me how a 6 point bolt in cage isn't suffice for clubman racing? The blue book says its perfectly acceptable. My safety devices cage made a large difference to rigidity to my Cup and its still perfectly safe to race in clubman series with.
Also does the does series require...
I'd be interested in something like this, but restricting it to just purely 182's is retarded tbh. Open it up to all mk2's and the grid would be massive!
Would definately be usable to drive to and from the circuits. I use my caged Cup ATM so this would be no different.
This.
I haven't done the full course, but on the 2 day course I did through my work I learnt a lot of things I use today without even realising. What you learn with the IAM should really be put to use when just learning normally, would make driving standards in this country much better...
No. Obviously if the cars going to left in a rough area, then you'll want to leave the battery connected so the alarm works. But likelihood is the battery will go dead by the time you want to use the car again.
Wouldn't bother with changing the oil, as you'll only have to change it when you want to use it again. Personally wouldn't bother with a car cover, unless its an expensive one it'll leave swirl marks/scratches all over it. Just give a very thorough clean all over and apply multiple thick coats...
You could just take the post lambda sensor out, cover it up and tuck it above the heatshield. Then put a bolt in the hole where the lambda used to be. Clear the fault using what's you've used previously and it shouldn't come back again.

Personally, i'd go with an early, miley 197 with good service history. That means it'll be cheap, the engine will have been nicely run in thus making better power, and even though the early 197 gearboxes werent the best they provide the shortest of ratios which can only be good for racing.
Then...
Mine made good power at RSTuning, though mine was one of the developent cars and first to be mapped so it took Paul hours to map it. I also think that timing is a big factor on whether the car will make good gains from the RS2, even on standard cams. I found out that the inlet cam on mine had...
This is way i'm starting to feel also. This may go off topic and I do apologise.
There's no doubting I love the RS2 as a product because of the way it 'transforms' the power delivery of the clio, but the cold hard fact is all this 'discussing' about what's better is pointless in terms of...
There's a difference between 'banter' and just being plain stupid tbh. He's had his viewpoint as to why he doesn't like the product, but now he's just doing anything to provoke an argument and complete mess a good discussion on a product.
