As above, solder straight to the door circuit. Not cutting or splicing needed. On my previous 172 someone wrapped the bare live and bare neg around the circuit strips, wouldnt advise this in case its shorts. 12v isn't much but roof lining is highly flammable!!!!....
Can't remember the differences on the 182's. On the 172 it's a more poverty/lightened spec. Mines fine in the wet, the little 16's do spin up quick though, just watch out for lift off oversteer in the wet if you being frisky. Most common mods are lowered, induction kit, RS remap, pads and discs...
to take the injector cover off I easy. 2 recessed 10mm bolts are all the hold it on. Go steady as they're prone to shearing off. The inlet manifold is pretty straight forward. Unplug the electrical connectors for the coil pack, and 1 each side of the plenum chamber. 4 10 mm bolts for the coils...
Update. All sorted. Ran power from the main 12v not the ignition on live and all sorted. Now looks like the inside of stretched limo on a hen night hehe...
As above. Super clean is my preference but different is good. Love the fog surrounds and bullets. My ocd is struggling with the mismatch wing though......
first thing I did was check the leds, there all good. Got a mate looking at it in a few hours who's wired up loads of stuff in his cars. Might shed some light on the issue. Cheers
