They’re quick motors those X5’s once mapped. Still a good 25 bhp per tonne down on a standard Golf R though.
I guy at work has one and my mapped E350 Merc had the edge on it.
Does yours have paddle extensions? The TT is the first Auto car i've actually used the paddles and they're just a touch too small. But I dont want Ninja death star looking ones which is all people seem to offer.
I've had loads of high mileage cars without issue.
I assumed it was leggy with all the changes but that's a good thing otherwise you'd be doing it all..
Nice. Great spec.
I love DSG in my new one. So much better than the Mercs auto box. I’m just preparing for it to break at some stage. Although I’ve read the later ones are more reliable or so I hope. 😂
Whats a decent strong wheel cleaner for satin black wheels?
I've been using Wonder Wheels colour active stuff from Asda as it's cheap at £7.00 a bottle but I'm finding it still leaves brown residue inside the wheels. It will come off eventually but after spending half hour on each wheel..
Welshname have you ever owned a RWD?
With decent tyres the chance of the rear end stepping out is the same as hitting a corner in a FWD turning the wheel and heading towards the kerb. i.e. you have to be driving too fast in the first place.
Fair enough but I drive a RWD the same as a FWD in the rain. When a FWD understeers a RWD just oversteers and if you're pushing it I find oversteer is easier to control.
But then to be fair I dont really ever drive quick in the rain.
A mate had one of these. His was mapped and went like stink. They sound nice for a derv too.
He did a lot of miles in it travelling all over Europe and it was faultless. However one day it decided to spontaneously combust on the motorway and that was that. 😂
I'm tempted to put an offer on this - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2018-McLaren-Senna-V8-SSG-Petrol-grey-Semi-Auto/264586237499?hash=item3d9a91963b:g:7hQAAOSwSRteF4bN
280bhp and 1550kgs. They go alright but nowhere near as quick as some of the other jap imports. Easily sorted though as the sky’s the limit with a 1JZ really.
