And further details will be on our main site in a couple of weeks, once full kits, inc ECU, are in stock.

Just a quick reminder about our rolling road day we are holding on the 8th May.

It seems alot of people are just looking at the final fitted price for a throttle body kit. There is alot more to take into account than the final cost.
Many aftermarket ecus being used will not operate your dash correctly for a start, then there is the over complicated installation processes...
some ECU's have lambda target tables for the whole map, they will gradually aim to correct to that target.. so after time the ecu will trim the fuel to meet this. if only the main map is modified the end result will alter over time.
The environmental compensations are in loose terms after the base maps.
the ecu does indeed use Multilayer maps, a correctly administered map will make changes to the whole range, although some of the analogue maps are not used.
Again I will post some more detail when I have had time to...
FBW has nothing to do with Type approval, and in this case is not a problem.
there is no point cost wise trying to achieve this as the conversion is complex for the gains, the cost for the pedal conversion is negligible in comparison.
this is the only reason we dont include in the kit...
New mounts from our stock have started leaving today, replacement parts from Vibra-technics should start leaving from tomorrow, please allow for the Bank Holiday weekend in the delivery times.

Re: K-tec Gearbox Mount Problem
Hi guys,
OK, so here are two pics to hopefully clear this one up. One shows the revised top hat against the incorrect ones. As a side point, if people have the taller top hats from previous batches, i.e. before March 1st, do not be concerned, the overall...
We dyno tested our Megane a couple of weeks ago and gained 3bhp by fitting one of our panel filters. This was done over several runs and when replacing the OE filter the power returned to its pre panel filter figure.

Re: K-tec Gearbox Mount Problem
They should start being sent out from Wednesday this week, sadly it is typical there is a Bank Holiday weekend! So delivery should be Thursday to Wednesday of the following week. If Rentec need to drill the centre out to 16mm to cure the problem , this will be...
Re: K-tec Gearbox Mount Problem
Hi Guys,
Just to add to Fuzzy's comments, there has indeed been a problem with the mounts received from 01/03/2010 into our stocks. The Top Hats have been machined too tall and without enough clearance to clear the post when tightening down. We have tested...
As long as it has a coating of oil it will be fine, all our panel filters have a coating of oil before they are packaged so just wondered if one had slipped through the net.
oil entering the inlet track will dramatically lower octane of the fuel mix, small amounts are fine. the results speak for themselves when this happens.
always run a clio boosted engine into a catch tank not the std inlet.
Andy
injectors were measured about 470cc when we tested them.
fuel pressure was set at 3.5bar, it would give you a slightly higher ceiling at 5bar, but not much tbh.
on the road the boost is slightly lower to make sure the injectors dont max out in the cold weather... as in these temps it needs...
The Cat fitting kit acts as a knuckle joint, allowing the cat to move on the manifold. When then get worn the cat just sits in one position, usually downward and this starts the ill fitting exhaust scenario.
This is what you need :http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2335
Sean.
Richy22 -The orientation is all to co*k on that exhaust. This is quite often caused by a worn Manifold/Cat gasket kit, making the cat sit at the bottom of its travel and starting the road to ruin right there.
Replace that and the cat will seal much higher, then twist the centre up into...
It was around a year ago that there was a bad batch produced with faulty end plates on the rear silencers. Any faulty ones were replaced with a new rear silencer and we have not had any issues for a while now. Milltek were very quick to sort out any issues.
David.
Well we are going to bow out of this thread now and let it take its natural course.
We have made all the points we wanted to make and hopefully corrected a few assumptions.
If anyone would like any more information on these kits please either PM us or start a topic on our traders...
