Really like it. Its tame compared to your last two cars but its also comfy, refined, well build and sounds the tits. Good choice.

Its been whacked into a kerb though "passenger seat airbag activated,small kerb mark on passenger side front wheel" Just got to be patient I suppose and wait for the right one. You swapping bit off yours over to the dci if you get one?

I'd go for an 80. They're torquey little things. Very different to a 1.2 16v.

Thats stunning. The recaro's and speedlines finish the 200's off so much. The recaros are amazing to sit in, especially compared to the armchairs in a 1*2.

Bet your made up mate. I loved the day I got my 172. As you said though, its not easy to get more power out of them. An exhaust will give you basically nothing but noise. If you want more power then it will cost a fair bit.

I'd go for the ph1 personally. Much more special than a ph2 in standard form. They have the oz f1 cup alloys, more aggressive and special front end, have better airbox setup, twin cat which is basically a sports cat and they weigh 75kg's less.

I'd say go for the best car you can comfortably afford. If I was to go back to a MK2 RS Clio again I would go for a 182 or a ph1 172 if the price was right. Which ever one you go for it will need the same maintenance i.e. belts, engine mounts, exhaust hangers etc. A cup packed 182 would...

The Megane 250 owns the FRS. Renaultsport are the new hot hatch kings. The fast fords died in the early 90's.

Thats awesome. He's using a dci gearbox for the longer ratio's iirc. Maybe copes better with the torque too.

I'd go for a BTB or yozzasport exhaust personally. Thats coming from an ex ktec stealth owner. I liked my stealth but I think there are better options personally.

I'd love to drive the TT course. Looks amazing. Thats the Evo's natural habitat, cross country pace.
