I'll be there. My little brother is marshaling so i'm on a freebie. Has to have a responsible adult with him. Thats me ;)
Only downside is I have to be there for 7.30am. I'll come and meet up with you lot as soon as you arrive though.
Love that mate. Looks really good. I wouldn't worry about the engine swap if I was buying it. If its all documented and the change was done under warranty at Renault if anything its a good thing.
They're a very different car mate. As a drivers car the Clio Trophy, as a fast cruiser the 225.
If I was ever to get a Megane I think i'd have to go for the R26. or R26.R depending on circumstances.
The JMS kit should be noisy. I ran my ph1 without the airfeeds which is almost identical to the JMS setup and it was very loud.
f0xy off here asked me if I was running a filter. He thought I had an empty airbox. I loved it. Foot down and you got a wooooaaahhhhh, over 5K it sounded awesome too.
I'm presuming the Cup was better than the Ferrari was better in the twisties ;)
Looks like a brilliant weekend though mate. I really want your cars. Dream garage you have there.
I can't see anybody paying over £2.5K for a Cat C 182 now. You can get a straight one for £3.5-4K now, probably not cup packed but i'd rather have no cup packs than Cat C.
All three of my cars have had aircon. Just a shame that only 1 out of the 3 has had working aircon.
Broken aircon is such a fail when I did 500 miiles in 3 days with the windows down at 80mph. I was almost deaf, and still covered in sweat. Great.
To be fair there is a big difference between a Clio engine that revs to 7.8RPM and a bike engine throwing out 200bhp per litre reving to over 15000 RPM.
I may ring him and say i'll pay for his fuel and power run at RS Tuning. If it makes its estimate I'll buy the car off him at full price but if it makes less than 175bhp he has to give it to me free.
Sounds fair to me. Can't lose either way. A genuine 223bhp 182 would be worth way over 7K.
It would not surprise me. Renault managed to put 1.2 dials into a fair few early 172's. Which is a major fail considering that a 172 revs to 7250rpm and a non-rs set of dials only go up to 7K rpm.
Just get a halfords universal one. You may as well because all it will do is add noise, which i'm not knocking, but no point in spending a fortune on one.
Lol you've done that before haven't you in the Monaco 172, well backwards onto the motorway.
Wanted top come to this but was working. You'd all of been really impressed with my Mazda 323 :rasp:
