Brilliant analogy that. I know the feeling. Loads of noise, engine feeling like its trying to escape from the car etc.
In big refined cars you just see the speedo go up without any fuss.
I'd leave it to be honest. With that mileage you'll be lucky to get £2500 for it. If you invest £300 into it you will still probably only get £2500 for it. Throwing money at a car rarely increases its value tbh.
Persoanally i'd sell it as it is.
+1
If I cancelled my policy last week i'd of got £67 back but I got £47 back and insured a car with them for another 4 months.
They just don't like giving anything back.
They are hopeless around town. I used to want to avoid driving my 172 because there is speedbumps for half a mile either way of my house. Plus around town the heavy clutch and not the smoothest engine in the world didn't make for the greatest drive.
On an open road they're brilliant though...
Unlucky mate, my foots slipped off the clutch and i've stalled a few times.
You must have been very close to the van to hit it by your foot slipping off the clutch though. Tyres and tarmac always sticks in my mind. I never get too close to the car in front as things like this can easily...
Some awesome cars in these pics. Stand outs for me are the Lunar Grey Vee, Alient Green 200 and Naiths Meg.
Wish i'd of made it myself. Albeit its a long walk from my house :dapprove: I'd have liked to have made up for the plack of ph1's in the pics.
Insurance for me. The lad must be injured. I've been on the recieving end of this type of thing when I had a moped. Wasn't nice atall.
Hopefully the driver improvment course will do you some good and the car will get fixed.
