Yeh much more refined. They are good to drive and dare I say it, would even keep up with a 1*2 when things got a bit twisty! You just need deeper pockets with a TT.
Have you done anything else to yours Laura, looked really good last time I saw it, did the wheels have a change of colour?
No it's not remapped, standard apart from 18 inch RS4's and a Blueflame exhaust.
It depends what you want in regards to if it is worth it, if you want something fun and economical I think the 1*2's are hard to beat. Driving to work and back (12miles) I'm getting about 25mpg and that's taking...
Had a bit of an issue with this TT about a month ago, was covered in General Chat and I got a lot of advice and support from alot of you which I really appreciated. So thought it was about time to get some pictures of it banged up.
I had a couple of 172's over the 12 months before buying the...
Wouldn't fancy that much by hand! I've always used one of these, sanded my 5 spoke 172 wheels up in about 10 mins and they were in a similar state to yours.
Rattle can job on my last 172
Really. Having looked at the advert again it states that they would fit a ford, even they were 4 x 100 that wouldn't be the case. The guy is clearly a bit special.
I suppose "wobbly" bolts could be used to fit them to a Clio though.
Do dealers sell "bargains"? Could be Cat D as it does seem cheap for a sunflower. I sold my Titanium PH1 for 2800 a month ago with 60k on it but only had one month tax and needed the belts doing mid next year. A week later the guy who bought it off me sold it on for 3500!
There's a small place on Elder Rd in Bramley, down the side of Wilco Motorsave. The guy who owns it is a top bloke, had my old 172 on his ramps afew times for various issues and never charged me a penny. He used to have a 172 himself so I wouldn't have thought he'd stall it!
Looks good, prefer those wheels to the other type you see on the 200.
But where has yellow come from? In a LY fair enough, but surely all black or black and grey would have suited better.
