Its so annoying driving in snow. You have to be feather light with all steering, accelerating, braking, changing gear etc.
Fronts spin up very easily if your a bit over eager with the clutch but i've generally been fine. If you drive carefully its not too bad.
Looks very good. I'm realy tempted by the price of those cams. If it will put out a real 200ish bhp its a major bargin.
What does everybody else think?
I didn't mod my 1.2 atall. Since i've got my 172 i've done a few mods, only subtle though. Exhaust, PH2 rear lights, Sportlines (not fitted yet). I've got other smaller things like silvervisions, flat wipers etc.
I think i'll just be slowly adding mods over the time I have it. A mod can stop...
Also you have to leave the car running for a good few minute while defrosting etc.
A cold engine is more innificient too. I'm sure the autochoke will be on for longer too. My 172 doesn't idle well when cold, its very lumpy, i notice this lasts longer in this whether now rather that when its...
Typical of people in this country. I mean how dare you stop to help him and then refuse to potentially damage an engine you have just paid to have rebuilt.
I'd have been too angry for words.
Yozzasport with a decat is extremely loud. Been in a car with that setup. Also miltek with centre silencer removed and decat is loud.
Both sound very nice.
I've got TR1's on the front of mine. I'm happy with them. I think i'm going to get some on the back too rather than the P6000 ditch finders.
Its about £15 to a tyre to get them fitted though :/ so it puts them up to PE2 price fitted at Costco.
Re: 20 3 years experience no no claims no one will touch me who are you all insured w
Good result mate. Where about in the north west you from? you going to be coming to the meets?
I find my 172 economical aslong as your not in traffic around town all the time.
Over 40mpg on A roads and motorways is easily achieveable aslong as you don't go over 80.
I'd go for the mini. 200's are lovely and a great car but personally i'd go for a change for my next car probably something boosted for a change, hence the mini.
