Brilliant upgrade. Quite possibly the worst time to upgrade to a car thats a lot more powerful with no abs but as long as your careful jumping in at the deepend will do you no harm.
Once it has its splitter back on it will be perfect. Cups are the best looking standard 1*2 imo.
Any plans...
Can't fault them myself. They're very knowledgeable and helpful as far as i'm concerned.
I like the fact they know about cars too, what car are you after cover of sir? Clio 172. What year? 2000. Job done.
None of the make, model, engine size, fuel, transmission..... and also after giving...
I'd get a little bit of money off. Its missing its splitter so theres £100 straight away. If it was priced at £7K, and had its splitter, i'd probably go for it taking into account it has a brand new exhaust on it worth £300+ and a panel filter £40.
182 will be more enjoyable to drive. However the IC TDI will give a lot more comfort and practicallity. The 182's have a fair few toys though and cruise control is a nice feature to have on a long journey.
The Cupra will be cheaper to run though, especially fuel and tax.
Feel sorry for the person who buys it second hand. However you pay for what you get. If you buy a brand new car its your choice how you drive it. You don't worry about the next owner.
Most people who no nothing about cars rag their cars from cold because they think its fine to do so. When I...
To keep up with 28-bhp and 320ish lbft it will take more than getting used to. Corners are you friend though, mind you naiths a good driver so it would be iteresting.
I agree with you on 197 handing Naith. They're so much more planted than a 172. You only notice when following one and see its nice and flat through the corners and the 172's rolling a lot more.
I've not driven one but i'm keen to after following Steve back from a NW meet, he literally owned...
I went for the ph1 because its the one that started it all, and put quick Clio's at the forefront of the hot hatch market, the ph2 didn't do quite so well but the Cup's and 182 sorted that out. Realitically i'd say the Trophy is the best car though.
The Vee's seem more like a seperate car to...
Another way to look at it is if you said you where upgrading to a 197 at a cost of an extra 4-5K then people would say nice car, good choice.. etc.
IMO opinion a SC 182 is a far superior car to a 197. The 182's are still relitavely new and have a good interior etc so its not like your just...
It should be in your documents as ste said above. Mine was on the top of the PDI report for the car. Hard to believe the origional PDI report for the car hadn't been lost in 9 years.
Well I had the same choice to make. I love the cups and the ph1's.
However I chose the ph1 because I prefared the extra luxuries albeit there isnt many. I love the look of the ph1, I love the old school looks of them.
Interior of the Cup, bar the seats, is far superior though.
Also most...
It depends what your after. For an old rounder it would be 197 however for driving thrills it would be the Trophy.
If you got the Trophy you would have a little bit left over for mods too. Get a supercharger for £4K ;)
