I like my exhaust. Its droney on the motorway but it doesn't bother me or give me headaches. I wouldn't want a hugely loud exhaust system, I had a mate who had a 1.1 Saxo and it was so loud it give me a headache after literally a 5 minute drive.

As per title. I'm after one thats pretty small and subtle like the cup splitters on the ph2's. Any recommendations? Thanks, Brett

Sounds awesome this car too. Is the rev counter working? I've seen a video of it where it doesn't. Hitting the limiter in every gear slowed the clio down.

You'll be fine. I find I can drive my 172 much safer than my 1.2 Its a bit quicker yes but its very linear power delievery it doesn't suprise you or anything. Handling is very predictable and a lot better than a 1.2 in my opinion. I haven't scared myself in my 172 yet.

What about a MK1 MX5 thats already boosted. Could save you a fair bit.

Thats where I did it too. It shot up to the limiter as soon as I went on the power.

Meh it'll be reet. Its the first time i've hit the cold limiter in it, or got anywhere near it. The car has been in essex at some point in its time, not sure how long for. Essentially that means its been started up and ragged from cold on a tesco's carpark doing handbreak turns and j-turns lol

Gutted. Its an excuse for a V10 anyway.

How do you get them to pass emmisions with the modified engine jamie? Hoiw modified does it have to be?

I did that too. I got a wheelspin turning onto that dual carraigeway and it just shot to the limiter bounced a couple of times then I chaged gear it spun abit more. Terrible road surface. Engines wern't completely cold though, the oil will still have had some temperature in it. Albeit not...

Good stuff. It sounds nice over 4K. A little boomey below that though.

Is the stealth loud from outside? I've not heard it from outside. I know I saw you try to undertake, may have been why I went faster. I didn't want to lose steve so I was outside lane hogging :cool:

Its a lottery whether you get one or not. Its unusally the early ones X or W in Titanium that have the alu bonnet. I've got the alu bonnet and shift light :cool:

I'm impressed with your car. I know you got a better enterance than me because that yaris was in my way but you where planted around that roundabout where as I understeered, back end twiched then as I come off it spun to the limiter in 2nd. Good fun though.

They will help but the 197's are a lot more planted. Can get on the power much earlier too.

Was a good meet. I found out that 197's handle better than ph1's on the way home too. Almost sideways round a roundabout then spinning to the limiter as you come off in 2nd isnt good. Fun though. Thanks to Ste aswell for helping me avoid the M60.

Typical Reanult. If you buy a brand new car you expect it to be right. Shouldn't be going back in after 8 weeks. Hope all gets sorted for you mate.
