It is with some relief I can say it is not one of our Stealth systems. I would say it was along the lines of a Powerflow system as it uses press bend bends and a universal looking rear silencer. David.

The stealth is one of the quietest systems available for the 172 but still makes the right noise under acceleration. If anyone is unsure about the noise prior to purchasing one they are more than welcome and take our standard Clio 172 down the road which has the system fitted. David.

Check the heatshields. We recently had a car in with a noisy centre and it turned out that the exhaust was fitted too close to one of the heatshields. David.

Samco did make a batch of these hoses a couple of years ago. We still have around 6 or 7 in stock but we were not impressed by the fit on the cars with FBW throttle. They should be making a new one which we will have available very soon. David.

Both prices on our site list the aux belt so the total cost for the 72k service and cambelt with aux belt change would be £290 + £330 - £45(for 72k aux belt as this is done as part of the £330 price) which makes a total of £575+vat including parts and labour. David.

Yes, the group buy was a bit of a let down as only around half the people that put their names down actually purchased the 182 system. I am afraid we would not be able to give an extra 5% disocunt ontop of the offer price. David.

All Samco hoses are direct replacements. They do not fit over the original hoses. I hope this helps. David.
