I've just had another look under there. The mount is not broken. How the exhaust ever fell out of it I don't know but i can't push it back up. There's no way it will fit back up there so ill have to just take the mount off to pass the mot and make up a bodge fix to give the exhaust a bit more...
Had an MOT fail yesterday as the centre exhaust mount is not connected to the exhaust. It didn't fail on this last year so either they didn't spot it or its fell off somehow.
I am very confused as the exhaust looks like its perfect at the back and doesn't look like it would ever fit on this...
I don't think I'll need to go that low hopefully. In my old clio I just cut and rewelded the subframe and that was enough but this time if like to do it properly. I've already drilled new holes in the side mounts so I should be dropping low enough
Can someone post up a link to the weld in seat bars? I've searched on their site but can't find them.
Also is there any reason why I won't be able to bolt my seat runners to them and then the side mounts? I can't see why this would be a problem
Really need to copy the way your seats have been done. I'm 6 foot 5 so lowering the seat will make a huge diff for me
Also interested in the paint you used

Man that's such a shame if you had to break that car. Looks great and I like the red wheels. I would so be having that engine rebuilt, or even stick it in the garage and do it DIY style.
Will look out for your thread if you break it though
Well although its a track car I use the same wheels as I can't be bothered with the hassle of changing them over etc plus the expense of proper track tyres.
A stud conversion is just a bit too much extra money as I'd rather spend the cash on track days
do you think it's a bit risky running the...
