Ok thanks, I did have a sheet from somewhere which calculated rates of around 300lb front and rear as a starting point but I think the sportlines I have are higher than this.
Springs front 160- 239 lb/in progressive
Rear 354- 752 lb/in progressive
from kam racings site which would say the rears...
You also need approved gloves,club membership and Nat B licence, as Russ says there are plenty of questionable cars in every class.

Do you have a part no for the cage ? also I see they need welding up as they are tacked together, how much needs doing and can you get the cage in and out again once its all welded up ? I assume its bolted to the floor plates ?

I suppose thats the problem of a build blog its very interesting from an arm chair point of view of what work goes into a build or its a build manual for your competitors ( we best down load it all before you change it !)
I have just bought a new kit from renault and the tensioner "spring" is solid ? I assume this tensions the belt so should move, my old one can be compressed although not easily.
Is this right before I go back to renault ?
