Its a ball ache. I've got a quote on the 172 and a reference number, if it chages for no reason i'm going to be properly mad. Think I may ring up to tomorrow and check. Even so its too late i'm buying the car anyway.
Good luck finding one mate. I can't wait to get mine. TBH i've never driven one, i'm buying it blind tbh, well not blind because I know its a good car but I won't drive it before buying it due to insurance, my dad will be doing that for me.
I realy can't wait to warm it up, point it towards a...
You sure its 1 gallon. I could always fit 41L in my 1.2 when the light came on. The dashboard check thing showed 9L remaining when the light comes on which is 2 gallons.
Fair enough but this is a 1.6 16V we're talking about here not a 1.2 or dci. Its a decent sized engine, running costs won't be hugely less than the 2.0
If it was a dci 80 or 100 then fair enough, £35 RFL, 60MPG etc but a 1.6 16v makes little sence to me personally.
There's no need to heel-toe one the road, i can do it, however imo just simple double decluching down the box will greatly reduce wear and make your driving 10 x smoother.
I'd buy private. That is well over priced imo. Put it this way, how much is a 2005 182 worth? They go on here, pistonheads etc for 5.5K regularly, some especially mint ones more obviously but still.
So they're selling a 1.4 Dynamique for only £500 less than what you can get a decent 182 for...
Get an RS interior rather than the crap standard expression interior. Will improve the car 100%. Try to get as many of the interior plastics as possible too.
Take it thats the one of the blue valver that Martin put in not long before he sold you the car.
Hopefully that one will be fine like you say.
Cars looking good by the way.
