Sad times! At least you can kip in the car matey ;)
Just transfered my beverages from glass into 2litre Sainsburys pikey range water bottles! Lol at if they check my car, 3 2L bottles of piss coloured alcohol!
This.
It really depends on the technique you have when doing it. I don't do it the way MarkCup does in that video, I twist my ankle more so I can focus on being stable/adjustability on the break pedal by having a lot of my front foot rather than using the sides of the foot.
Wasnt welded enough clearly. Also when I fitted a set to my car I didnt realise you had to weld them, they were pressed into place but even then mine didnt move as much as yours!
Lol you chump, don't you think i know that already? Like I said though they could still bump the taxes up far greater than they currently are and people would still smoke, it might in turn improve the public services that 'we' use... How you can say I'm an anti smoker amazes me also, I only just...
I agree with smoking being vile, but what I'd do is tax the s**t out of cigarettes to keep the fuel prices down. People would still by them even if they were double the price so the driver would be better off! I know it wouldn't happen but I don't care if people smoke, just as long as there not...
Cheers for the link Tony!
Spoken to the chap that did mine, he said that i'd have to have a chap from the MSA to come and scrutineer the cage to give a racecar logbook? Sound similar to what you had to do Tony? Pm me if needs be.
Cheers
Nick
The chap that built mine builds space-framed chassis' for various applications of racing as well as Rally cars, so mine bloody well better meet the 'blue book' regulations!
Not sure on exact figures as said it was made in the car but the given the fact the cage is all 'CDS' material, its formed as actual steel tube rather than most OMP/other cages which are a lot heavier because they use sheet steel and bend it/weld it into tubing. If you get me? lol
People will...
Cheers! Thought I'd put your name in the frame just incase anyone else was interested in the rear screen. :)
Yeah ill be using the cl rc6 pads more than likely that I've used before, great stopping power that don't kill disks like the pf97's! Plus there reasonably priced!
Yeah the colour on the inside looked very different the day I first saw it, but i'm putting that down to the car being very dirty (darker colour) and the light flashing of the inside to make it look lighter than it actually was.
The cage is a custom one made 'in the car' as some call it, a guy...
Lol I'd would love to Tony trust me! But got Lemans on thursday and now waiting upon other people to complete work so out of my hands unfortunately!
Will give you a shout regarding what trackdays/test days you'll be doing other the coming months! Will come join you guys in mine hopefully! :)
Cage looks beautiful but must weigh a tonne! Still lots of brackets in there that I can see also! ;) Will be good to see this next year in a few tintops races!
Righty then! Some pictures of cage after paint, having looked at it again since being at the painters the way the sun was hitting it made it look worse than I thought but i'm growing to it now! :)
Both "work in progess" racecars! Which one will be done first? ;)
Today I...
Yeah I know Chris, tbf once people look at it with all the doors and interior bits fitted it probably wont look that bad.
The windows I ordered supposedly had a bonding agent with them, wasnt in my package but Tom assures me he has some! I know I certainly wont be doing it thought! lol
Good old K-tec Racing again, staggers me that people even give them the time of day! Amazing how crafty they are also...
Good figures none the less Kev, at least the cars in good hands now!
