Do it, its only a clio at the end of the day. If its a Cat D then all the snobby Trophy owners will turn their noses up anyway and its your so do as you please!
So about that update...
My polycarb side windows turned up, I went with sliders on both sides with 4 holes rather than 1 large hole as i'll be using it on the road until the MOT runs out at the end of the year. The rears also have a pop out hole more for a little bit of circluation...
Got a few little updates coming, hopefully the car will be back from the painters soon which will be nice! So I can then finish off the loom and have it running again.
On the suspension front the Bilsteins were going to need a lot of work to make them fit, so were going for a set of AST's now...
Yeah not bad now Tony! A couple of 12 hour sleeps and I'm sorted :)
Just doing a bit more to the race car today, fitting the polycarbs and cutting the door down.
Awesome bit of video there guys! Loving that first lap at the bottom of crainer curves, awesome line giving the teggy some dirt! Need to mine done even more now after being there yesterday!
Indeed was a good day and glad that the cars starting to feel the way you guys want it! Great result given the strong field also!
Cheers for the help and advice again, much appreciated!
Cheers
Nick
Pendulum effect?
Lol about the sounds and standard cars, something that Forza will no doubt always be better at!
The one thing I do like about GT5 is that the CPU messes up, something that Forza doesnt seem to do in my experience. Its always very uniform, so if Forza could incorporate that...
Worth keeping it then! Like you said I loved Forza 3 when it came out however now i've got GT5 with a logitek steering wheel i've pretty much dumped the xbox!
The fronts shouldnt be a problem is they have a high et/you arent to low and have a little bit of camber. You'll struggle with the rear though unless you pull the rear arches out.
The exteriors staying the same Mondial Blue, and I've had a look through a book full of 2pack colours for the interior and i'm going for a blue which is pretty damn close to the exterior paint but lacks the metallic touch so hopefully will looks alright. Whilst I was there the painters said...
Cheers dude, hopefully it'll start once i've finished cutting it about. I am being pretty conservative so fingers crossed, just cant wait to get back into it now!
Hi there Tony, was going to pm you this evening. I'll try and come up Friday evening as I have work tomorrow. Might leave a bit later though to miss the traffic. But will give you a call to let you know!
Few more pictures, went to the fabricators and cut out the last few brackets and plastic clips ect ready for paint. Also removed the indicator stalks and heater box for better access for paint, i'll be keeping the heater box but slimlining it so it just feeds onto the windscreen and set to hot...
Okay, so how olds that picture?
Do you think that maybe that was an old batch/poor form of wheels and they now have resolved that problem? As before I asked Rare Rims about the Rotas I bought off them and they stated that if they ever saw that then replacements would be given no questions. The...
See this is what grinds my gears on here and various other forums... Tbh I couldnt give a flying f**k about the copying side of it, the set I owned served the purpose at hand. They weren't bought to be scene or to look good, I got mine as they were one of the lighter wheels you can get without...
