No, i'm a realist.
I'm not trying to take the piss i'm just clearly stating, i'd personally take it to someone thats had lots of experience in mapping a specific manufactuer that's qualified rather than every tom/dick and harry's cars. The fact it shows in the rolling road printout, why make...
I'd like people to be charged to come into the show.
The reason for that is that there hundreds of scummy people that that will have something for nothing, whilst they clamber all over people cars for pictures and also helping themselves into peoples cars (The Burpspeed Racecar for an example).
Oh dear!
I'll give it a year before that blows itself to a million pieces revving that high and not having a 'cold limiter' when its not up to temperature, its there for a reason...
This is true to an extent, with the extended runner length it only made a few more bhp but made almost 10 lb/ft of torque which is a reasonable gain. Guess it depends on how compromised your car is already.
What a strange cage, no cross bars going to the rear but some random bits added between the b pillar loop. Would rather roll without one personally... Sorry to sound nasty.
Had to get out in the car over the winter with all that snow about, only car I had at the time with the clio with R888's and I had no problem getting around. As long as your not an idiot in the car and drive to the conditions then you'll be fine, though they do wear out rather quick on the road!
Saw this at TDF on friday before Matt worked his magic on it! Lovely example and very clean, oh and it did sound very nice indeed! Good luck with you progress :)
Roll's not a bad thing! A whiteline is a good idea also.
You could always try extra camber on the front, should help with cornering without killing the outer edges of the tyres.
So that means you'd need to get a car/trailor with a trailor license, so a more expensive way which is a smart idea!
I'm not sure you read in the first place what the OP has said he wanted to do also, he said he wanted to upgrade his car and maybe use it for fast road. Not once did he say...
Was going to say the same thing, getting bored of all these s-bodys and skylines being used for driftcars or wanabe driftcars when they no doubt are very capable on track!
Yeah I took in what you've said regarding reliability as throwing a race fee and all the travelling costs etc down the drain is something we dont want.
I'll leave mine around 9ish and see you guys up there around 10:30/11ish!
Yeah hopefully that budget should set us in the right direction...
Cheers!
With regards the budget for racing, there'll be two of us racing so the entry fees/maintaining of the car will be split.
Race entry fee is around £350 per race team so that's split in half obviously. What we'll be doing is budgeting probably just over £1000 a race, which shall include...
That first bit is exactly what they said to me when it came to enquiring about it not being right/fitting.
I'll leave it at that, if you can modify and fit it for cheap do it that way. If your paying someone good money just get a custom built cage done to what you want. It'll fit better and be...
