TDF ITB's kit - end of.....

Cleaned mine today, 1st time I have done more than a bucket and hose! I washed it, iron x , clayed then polished and pleased how clean it actually is under all the grime lol

That's what everyone assumes apart from 519and ktec who know, there's a thread somewhere which has a picture of the timing tool if it's just timed different on the blanks why bother if there's a tool to set them up in the 1st place unless it's so they can be fitted by anyone who doesn't have it...

I thought ktec used catcam timing tools to set up 421 and 428 which altered the exhaust timing from standard if that's the case there must be a difference in the 438's unless it's so they can be fitted elsewhere with the standard Renault timing tool?

Out of interest are the manifolds on the phase1 and 2 the same ? if so you could put a later cat on it.

No problems with mine and its had plenty of full blooded starts also were quick to get it done for me.

Yes the L bracket, I cant see it making any difference but it will be very low at the back and may catch on a trailer or something. Also one of my brackets bent so would be worth welding on a web to strengthen them.

Looks very nice Mark, are the arb mounts upside down? Or mounted that way for a reason ?

I would have had it but I fitted a quaife earlier this year but I know someone who is after one. Looking to get back into rallying although racing is coming out alot cheaper car prep wise.
