My black phase 1 has the alloy bonnet. Registered right at the start of January 2001. As far as I can tell it’s what came with the car from factory as the bolts haven’t been disturbed, no paint missing off the heads/marks.

The wishbones are a direct swap, they come with the bushes and ball joints fitted already. They aren't cheap compared to non genuine ones, but the way i look at it is buy cheap buy twice. Renault parts direct have them at a discounted price...

Did 7 years on my 172 ph1, cambelt and aux belt. Cambelt was fine when i took it off, aux belt was cracked to buggery though.

Another year another MOT, passed first time, advisory on the brakes slightly binding which is to be expected as it hasn’t been driven since July. Only done 291 miles since it’s last MOT.
