Brake pad change HELP?

Has anyone ever changed rear brake pads on a VAG group car with electric hand brake and if so what software did you use?

I think you can use obdeleven or carrista as well as VAG com.

Any other software? and is it easy if you have the software or best left to specialist changed a lot of brake pads before but never elec brake! vw want silly money for a pad change 🤣

So may have a go myself just after anh tips or advice?

I used Carista on my wife’s Audi to change the rear discs and pads (electronic parking brake)

Pretty good the Carista, I activated needle sweep on start up, alarm chirp when locking and cornering lights at low speeds (fogs)

You'd think they would put something in the car menu to be able to do it.

Most electronic handbrakes have a manual rewind as well. Normally a few bolts to pop the motor off then an Allen key (or similar) to wind the piston back.

No, you can use it with any car. I’m sure I paid £25, that included the plug and 1 months free subscription. If you don’t carry the subscription on you can only do basic things like read and clear air bag and engine faults.

I purely needed it to do the rear brakes and reset the inspection light. Will have to renew it again when the inspection light comes back on.
