Yep! Will see what SMD find but it seems to run well. Have worked out from what I can today that the engine has covered a little more than what the previous owner was claiming, but the car is only on 57,000 so it's not the end of the world, especially considering what I paid.

Spoke to the builders, they recommend 10w60 lol. He said it shouldn't matter too much but other specalists seem to think 10w50 to 40 is a good grade for a forged motor. Not sure how the owner then surmised 5w30.

I think with these the one thing to keep in mind (and I wasn't aware of just how bad this was until not long ago), is that the 2.5 suffers really badly with ring land failure, so any improvement is less of a gamble than stock. Yeah, overall chunkier. It's 1500kg, so it's a good 200 pigglets...
