Looks forward to the video. I'd have though the driving in the meganesport session would be better than the saxo's and pugs, saxo's and pugs certainly have a bad reputation on the road for the some people drive them.
To be honest nothing springs to mind. A Saxo VTS would need at least £400 to get it to those performance figures as it would need full exhaust inc manifold and decat and a good IK setup. You can get them for £2000 no problem for a good one with FSH etc though.
The problem is its not as big as...
I'd go for the cheapest quote always. At the end of the day insurance is a certificate that allows you to drive on the road. You will eventually get paid out if s**t happens so unless the difference is less than £50 I would always risk the cheaper quote.
I'd definately try and do a deal on that with you if I was in the market for a Cup, the advert it excellent imo, details everything about the car and its history which is also fully compreshensive.
I would be offering more like £3500 though, prices of normal PH2 172's on 2002 plates are early...
I'd get the dci 100% and thats coming from a 1.2 16V owner. I had the same choice as you nearly two years ago and made the wrong one.
If I had the choice it would be dci 80 for me. It already has the intercooler that the dci 65 doesn't and has box out of the 1*2.
They're torquey b******s...
MarkCup's Cup must be doing 100 in 13-14 seconds and he only has basic breathing mods and a remap. Ok it is stripped bare but to get those types of figures you don't need ITB's or boost.
That wasn't realy the awnser I was after, I was hoping it was going to feel like a completely different car to drive.
Think i'm going to have to test drive one before making the decision on whether to get one or not.
