clip is diagnostic reader!
checked the lambda? usually causes terrible running.
perhaps change the temp sensor. unplugging it probs causes the ECU to run with a default value. and perhaps when plugged in it throws a wrong value causing the engine to run terribly.
its been done. but its a lot of money to spend on a clio, many times the value of the car.
and the car will be worth very little as its a tiny number of people itll appeal to, same with trying to sell on the kit afterwards.
your young, man the f**k up. sluts go nuts for static drops! ;)
water pump isnt leaking, its pretty much new! im slightly worried the bearing in it is faulty.
so how tight is 130 hertz?! i terms of me turning a 10mm spanner on the tensioner?!
how much should i be able to move the belt up and down?!
i think im going to make some new ones! the pattery ones ive got now have two holes in the backing plate which ive used to cable tie them to the cradle. wont be great but it should give me some kinda of warning if the clip works out rather than just spit the pad out!!
i dont see why renault...
its tensioned in the same way was a cup set up. perhaps ill just tighten is up some more!! 180nm sounds mental! thats double what a wheel nut should be!! how can the tensioning stud handle that?!
Sounds like my aux belt its squeaking a bit,
but its very tight, im almost scared to tighten it up more encase its knackers a bearing somewhere!!
is there anything else that can make an aux belt sqeak other than incorrect tension?!
the times it has happened have been on different clios so its not my spercific retainer im worried about.
and ive tried knocking it further towards the outer edge of the car, but its not close enough to get another clip on the outer edge annoyingly!
for some reason, mine retaining things are...
looks from the for sale advert that it only need the handbrake looking at, if you cant do that for under £500 id be rather astonished!!
looks good though! cheap ph1's FTW! i paid £535 for mine! :D
almost, just need to work out why the aux belt is squeaking and stop it.....and get a cage. then ill be happy with mine!!
i think all that jazz about german being well build and french being terrible was relevant 10-15 years ago. but since then renault have got their act together a bit, and VW...
For the second time, one of my clios has spat one of the rear pads out!
im pretty sure im installing them correctly, but theyre a terrible design imo.
Perhaps im missing something, but theres nothing stopping the little L shaped strip from working its way inwards far enough for the outer pad...
that post was hit at a lot more than 5mph! kids hero reversing FTL! i did it once when i was young, cost a lot of money :(
and as for him "baiting the police", hes all legal and he can drive exactly where he wants. the police are wasting their own time by following him imo. If they had actually...
yes, you have to cut the existing rear seat rail out!
also mounting the seats to the floor means the seat will be out of line with the steering wheel ever so slightly! you have been warned! lol
Thanks guys,
yes it is a daily, ive always had stripped out dailys for a few years now so dont plan on getting bored of it any time soon!
and i was thinking about a new coolant bottle, already changed the lid of one off a ph2 to make it look a little nicer! lol
and track days will be when i...
and maybe changing the rear bumper as the exhaust has made a complete state of it!
few other niggles to work through, aux belt is squeaking and i cant seem to work out why, looks like the crank pulley is wobbling which really isnt a good sign!
ill let the pics to the talking, really cannot be...
they will more than likely fit, but remember, the 172 spring will be designed to carry a 172 engine. your engine will be much lighter so the car will sit a lot higher than a 172 still!
imo, go for coilovers, then you can adjust the, to the perfect height to look like a 172.
if not, go for 60mm...
strip it out! only real way to make 1.2s faster!
dont bother spending money on performance mods! youll get such a pathetic upgrade you wont even notice it!
save for a faster car!
It may be thats how many points hes had in the last 5 years, which is do-able without a ban.
If hes not had a ban, then most mainstream insurers will insure him id have thought!
in the last 5 years im not far off that number and im only 23. can still insure my 172.
Re: My 172 Cup (T5MY G) Cooksport Cup Racer Rep
looks like a cool project dude! in true me fashon ive only looked at the pictures!
have you had any power mods?! im trying to work out how youve got the 0-60 time so low! cant get that from just stripage and breathing mods!?
thats so stupid!! i hope hes put a lot of thought into the stress and strain on the bolts hes using because that could so easily collapse at any minute!!
i wonder what its like under hard braking!! lol
