Me and a guy from work did my 106 and his golf vr6 using a heat gun and a rubber mallet, no paint flaking at all. 106 took less than an hour. The golf took about 1.5-2 hours due to having thicker arches.
If it is rubbing on the outside the best way to do that without tyres or raising the ride height would be to roll the arches. It isn't as bad as you think to roll arches.
Is it just me or do the USB leads for the iPhones/iPods break really easily?
I've had my iPhone 4 for about 18 months now and am on my 5th USB lead, 3 of them being the official Apple ones, then one from Maplin and the latest one being an extra long eBay special one. every single one has...
Do you understand the principles of how the ABS system works mate? If you don't have a read up on it and it should make it easier to figure out what could be wrong.
Batteries can be classed as wear and tear by some companies. I work for Volvo Trucks and batteries are only covered by warranty if it has a bad cell within the first 2 years and covered for other faults goodwill up till about 6months.
Sounds like its either going to be the ABS pole wheel or the ABS sensor itself, not much more it could be mate. Take the sensor out, and put it back in making sure its sat in the right place then test drive and see if the fault is gone?
Sounds to me that it could be the battery, but try checking the voltage across the power cable from the positive on the battery to the alternator, if this wire is good then you should get a reading of about 0v, if this wire is a problem then you will get a voltage.
I'm not actually sure when it comes to the clio without looking at a wiring diagram but you should be able to tell if the wires running from the old switch will earth out at the same point as the new switch. But yeah just try to get as close to the original switch as possible to avoid fitting...
I did have the choice to have this but being as i work shifts so need to drive in the early hours of the morning it would actually raise the price of my insurance no matter how safely i drive. It is all a big con in my opinion
