Done a good few hundred miles in now, and still all is good :) The odd stutter is still there, but hoping a new lambda will solve it, but all in all really chuffed :)

make sure you get some wheel spacers, as the Renault sports have wider track than the normal models, so a set of spacers will push the wheels out
It is possible to make a gain as you say mate, depending on how it is out - id like to see the results from that Semi-grp N timing tool that a chap sells on here
As standard they usually run out of puff as they close in on 7k but still should pull well to 6.5k, id get the tools and a new belt and re - do it mate, if you can do it your self then its only a mornings work at most, then its peace of mind for you
Welcome mate, aux belt is every 36k from memory, and at every belt change you must change the aux t kit - so when they say cambelt change, make sure they changed the cambelt, tensioners, idler and aux belt and tensioner.
with regards the dephaser, if they are looked after then they should...

Before cat mate, though they are both the same, the post cat has a longer wire from memory, you can actually swap them round to see if it makes a differnce

Id get it plugged in and see if there are any fault codes
It got slated as there were some crazy power gains being said - id still not buy one as i could make one for a quarter of the price, but im sure it will end up selling well
Had a good day today, got round to Dans workshop early, and fitted my new dephaser, oil and filter change, coolant change and general check over.
Iv put about 150 miles on the engine, and all is well so far, apart from the dephaser rattling it's arse off, so very glad to have that now sorted...
