Go carefull as the rocker cover is the top half of the cam carrier. Record a video and stick it up mate welcome btw!

I get a lot of that with VW, things incorrectly packaged, or missing, though 99% of the time we spot that before giving it to the customer lol

The rocker cover is the top cam carrier too, so as said you can't just whip it off. try doing up the rocker cover bolts - it's super common for the rear ones (from what iv seen the ones by the dephaser) to work loose - if the oil is coming up you could put a little silicone on the bolt...

You should see mine, I did attempt to clean it before it went in, but I got bored :o Although im not a fan of the yellow, it looks clraned and prepped to a very high level, very impressed :) Did you give it a refresh, or was it out to paint it? lol

Don't bend them too much, don't drop anything on them so they get damaged.

Welcome! You cannot use a 182 exhaust, as the 182's do not have a spare wheel well, but there are companies that make a 182 'look' exhaust which curves around your spare wheel well, but with how cheap 182's are getting now you may as well go buy a 182 lol :)

Iv borrowed Doms OMP subframe (Cheers mate!) so il measure up where is needs rasing on one side, and il see how many he can knock up - maybe if I say I want 4 or 5 pairs he might get them done quicker lol

This what is so annoying, I get someone who wants to part ex in a car, I give them a price and they say ' oh it's worth more than that' - OF COURSE ITS f**king WORTH MORE THAN THAT, how am I supposed to make a living if I buy cars at retail price?!? Although saying he was doing you a favour...

I have no idea on your driving ability, but my advise would be do not upgrade the car until it is the weakest link, get some track days under your belt while it is standard, feel what is letting you down, then look at upgrading once you know exactly what the car is doing under you in all situations.

Cheers dude, il be desperately trying not to blow a load of cash - so far with the cost of the new engine, cambelt etc etc the car owes me circa £1050 at the moment, but it's time to start selling some stuff off like the polished inlets to get some money back in :)
