I kind of want to sell them! I know I'll only get £40ish, but it's better than nout!
Hmmm, tempting! It's obviously not very hard if the holes have just rounded. Could be onto a winner with that...
It's way too tight for that! Might as well cut the wheel off if I was going to do that! lol
FLOL. B**tard. I found out today that I've got a Sachs damper on the rear. So I've got an MXTrophy, technically.
LOL! I hope so. We need to get him converted one way or another...
It's got a sleeve on the outside of the nut that spins - so I imagine not, unless I could somehow chisel...
1) Wheel is still on because I've still not really got any ideas on how to get it off.
2) Bumper cutting is free, and lowering isn't.
3) See above! ££££££'s.
Course it's going to CSS, just pissed off it probably won't be low :(
Anyway, onto todays work. Bumper chop to get rid of that horrid f**king fog light!
Started out cutting a rough shape in the bumper skin.

Then cut out the left...
Just taking my time with it! (Not through choice though, unfortunately! lol)
Seeing it clean under the sun today made me consider sorting the rear arches out... Might be something to think about next year. Just buying a solid shell in the first place would be much easier though!
I can't really take it to CSS with odd wheels can I! Really need to figure out how to get it off - I think your plan of loosening off the other three bolts is my favourite at the moment, it's just that it's on so tight that I might end up snapping the stud before the nut loosens? That's what I'm...
FLOL! You c**t :o
Repair panels for the arches are around £120 a side; full replacement rear panels are nearer to £250 a side IIRC.
Have a look on mx5parts.co.uk
I said I'd never do it... but I've cleaned it. Seeing Jason's £150 wonder has made me a little green with envy, so I had to make this one at least Look more expensive!
I gave it a minor paint correction, but I've not got any product or pads that are aggressive enough for the really bad areas. I...
Ah, nor would I.
I was referring more to the way power appears to be delivered and the lack of any kind of noise other than quite an annoying wine - not really got much character? I don't know, perhaps I'm comparing it too much to an internal combustion engine.
More to the point, having never...
Good effort!
I once knocked the head off a pheasant when I had my Clio - smashed the lower grill up a bit, and it was about two days before I was due to sell it FFS. Strangely satisfying though, f**king stupid things!
Though I wouldn't do it myself, I think the PH2 rear end does look quite good on that.
Love Exclusives; they're about the only RenaultSport I'd own now I think.
Really? That's a bummer. Elise seats are very nice, but I imagine quite costly? There's a fair chunk of height to be taken out of the sliders and side-mounts, I've ordered some of these to try out, posted on the previous page http://www.jb-fab.com/catalog3.html
Eliminates bolting side mounts to...
Thanks! It's getting there. Think I definitely made the right choice with the colour though :D
Flol! Yeah, I could see Over the windscreen ffs.
Just blasted back along the M62 at 85-90cheesecakes/hour, worked out I've done 37.2MPG over the past couple of days (278 miles). Pretty astonishing...
I thought about changing the throttle cable, but was assured it had been done quite recently before I bought it... would be worth checking it though - if you can't get wide open throttle, you obviously won't be getting full power!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
F**k knows who will actually see the banner - it's in the middle of nowhere! lol. Do like me some pork though.
Because quarterly electricity bill.
If I still lived at home with my parents, it'd be on its arse, turbo'd, nice wheels, the lot - but I've got a s**t job with s**t...
