+1 insurances problem, if they paid out for the persons car then they pay for personal injury. No minimum age though mate. contact whoever you where insured with at the time and tell them the situation.

You should buy it back off the insurance btw. Looking at Jords thread he may need an engine an this has just had belts done etc he could easily convert it to cable throttle and you could take your parts and sell the rest they would only want a few hundred quid for it.

Good project this mate, nice to see you back on your feet with a MK1 again. Do hybrids constantly go wrong though? All I ever hear about them is problems.

As above 4 stars. They do seem to hold up well though, seen a few rolled ones and I wouldn't be too bothered about rolling mine judging by that, providing I didn't have to pay for the repairs.

Looks Fantastic. I love cars like this that arn't trying too hard. They just have a couple of smple but effective mods.
