+1 insurances problem, if they paid out for the persons car then they pay for personal injury.
No minimum age though mate.
contact whoever you where insured with at the time and tell them the situation.
You should buy it back off the insurance btw. Looking at Jords thread he may need an engine an this has just had belts done etc he could easily convert it to cable throttle and you could take your parts and sell the rest they would only want a few hundred quid for it.
Gutted for you mate. Realy nice car this, its a write off tbh though. Jut keep hold of the half leather interior, turini's, ktec stealth and get another.
Some people are idiots arn't they.
Just after you got your new bumper and had the belts done.
FFS.
Epic car mate, love it.
That rust is truely shocking, on a year old car. I'd make renualt fully aware aswell, these days there is no excuse its not a 1993 valver ffs.
Not bad atall. Looks good after being Pc'd. He's a good lad type_rdrver he took me out in his 172 cup to demonstrate his ktec stealth sound, its top of my purchase list after i get a 172 now.
Realy sorry to see this. might be worth leaving the T-Cut and fnding someone to PC it and see how that go's.
Who you insured with? directline do vandalism cover with no loss of ncb.
Fronting is tempting. I did it for my first years driving but realised that it is not a good idea and wanted my own ncb so I could get a decent car in the future in my own name.
This should be stickied to show people that it actually does happen where they won't pay out, tbh everybody thinks...
Good project this mate, nice to see you back on your feet with a MK1 again.
Do hybrids constantly go wrong though? All I ever hear about them is problems.
Now i'm with you. I was going to say its the best rep i've even seen if it was a rep.
Why did you decide to remove the aircon? Has it made much of a difference.
As above 4 stars.
They do seem to hold up well though, seen a few rolled ones and I wouldn't be too bothered about rolling mine judging by that, providing I didn't have to pay for the repairs.
