In my experience all speedo's over read.
In my Clio 1.2 16v it did 112 jelly babies on the clock, this was 106 gps.
The Lupo does 138 jelly babies on the clock, 132 gps. Neither of these was on the limiter but probably not far off.
Don't even talk to me about stone chips, I actually considered a bra for a few moments, then drank an entire bottle of washing up liquid as punishment.
Im as bad as Rich if I could I would keep the Lupo as a weekend car and just get a runabout. Although having said that if you are going to have a weekend car you may aswell go all out and have an elise/ caterfield.
I love the Lupo but im fed up of worrying about it, there about £250 worth of...
My brothers 2002 1.2 16v is running badly.
When idling the revs are fluctuating and don't settle even when warm, quite often stalls unless the revs are kept up.
The orange light below the fuel light comes on, I think its the engine management light.
Its had the coilpacks done just under a year...
As above, for a car like a 1.2 Clio pistonheads is a waste of time, autotrader is full of overpriced tat from dealers, I got my 1.2 16v from an old lady 5miles away advertised in my local paper.
It will sound sweet with a decent aftermarket exhaust, f0xy's prospeed sounds and looks the part for example.
Agree with Brett, is choice, he could have bought 2 ph1 172s.
Ah the threads I read suggested that Cup packs had to be delclared.
I agree about declaring dealer fit options as alot of alloy wheels etc are dealer fit.
The Sebring exhaust was factory fit, but only on the Clio Extreme special edition. Seeing as the car isn't an extreme its a modification...
LOL you don't know what your talking about, did you not read the thread on declaring cup packs to the insurance company, clearly not.
When you declaring modifications it gives two options A. Alloy wheel aftermarket, B. Allow wheels optional extra.
As to the Sebring exhaust they were as...
I think Taylor has hit the nail on the head, it won't feel quick after a couple of weeks until you drive someone elses car then get back in yours.
I had quite an enjoyable drive in mine yesterday for about the first time in a month, over recent weeks i ve just been getting pissed off with having...
As above, to sum up a sentence to get a decent mk1 you need to spend 10k, 15k+ for a mk2, watch out for cars with too many owners, and the cambelts are very expensive, and finally Illiad blue is for arse bandits.
I think thats a fair price I would have it for that, as above though cambelt and aux belt is due at 5yrs old or 72k, which ever comes first. Theres a few about on that kind of mileage, wouldn't put me off at all, nicely run in and any problems would have be ironed out.
Turner your cars been photographed more times than Jordans snatch.
Shame FPM doesn't stand for Finely Polished Milltek! Get the autosol out on those tips!
Navman are also quite good.
I got my Nuvi 300 for Christmas last year and that was around £200 maybe just over, so you should have no problem finding one. What I did was to go to Halfords and have a play around with it, check I liked the functionality and compared it to the other models, then...
When i was looking they were heavily plugging the road angel, but reviews said they were crap.
I looked at the TT one but it crashed in the middle of halfords and the salemen told me they had a good few back.
I went with the Garmin mainly because its a brand im familiar with they have been...
