    Performance Gains

My old clio was 6.7 secs on average 0-60 and 5.7 secs 0-60 after I fitted itb's - this was on a G-tec performance meter, so probably not hugely accurate, but a good improvement non the less

What price all in all for mk2 conversion to sport ???

It's your money wasted at the end of the day matey, just remember it will cost more than a genuine RS to insure (classed as modified) and will be worth less when you come to sell.

Renault clio 1.2 16v fast road camshafts

Lol.Dude, speedo accuracy usually decreases with speed, so at 40mph being 3mph out, at 100mph it will be about 7mph out, so at 120mph id imagine around 10mph out.Being 3mph out at 40mph will not give the same degree of inacuracy at higher speeds just so ya know :)

    Fault Self Diagnosis - Confirmation?

^^ Ben will find it :) if it's any help I would have suggested loom damage - Mk5 Golfs can suffer something along the same lines

How much would it cost to convert 182 to AWD?

To be done properly you would be into 5 figures. Thing you are not looking at though is the structural integrity of the car - it would be a pig to drive, and imo a waste of money - id rather have a 500bhp Evo which would be just as quick but handle 100x better and be a lot more fun :)

lol bear in mind how accurate you HAVE to be when mapping, how much of a skill it is, letting just anyone map your car is madness mate! Paul is renound as one of the best Renault tuners in the country and has the most knowledge and research of the Seimens ECU - to have the best work on the...

    Cams and Exhaust manifold

It was mapped when the cams were fitted, by Henk@ fastchip - one of his custom maps where you record a run through a gear, then e-mail him and he tweaks the map I believe.

    Cams and Exhaust manifold

Cheers Steve, thats the only thing at the moment, it pulls well but flat at lower revs - im thinking a remap is needed

Bright idea that will save you £50 !

We get this alot, people coming in asking us to replace air mass meters then complaining when it doesn't fix the fault - 'well thats what the fault code reader said' - oh that makes my working life such a pain lol, you imply cannot explain to a retail customer that something else may be bringing...

Bright idea that will save you £50 !

People often wonder why we charge for fault finding at work (VW) but as Mick says we have paid out near £9k each for our test computers,(we have 4) plus the licences for updates etc - we find the fault first time but we need to pay for these machines some how
