That ones an Authentique = no equipment and 8 valves, you should be able to pick a 1.2 16v for £2.5k, thats what I payed for mine with 48k.

Saxo VTS/ 106 Gti great track car or town car, I however do alot of motorway work so I wanted something a little safer in case I was involved in an accident. Im not saying saxo's/ 106 gti are bad cars, what with the price of ph1 172's at such a low level I would compromise.

Yes. I would class a Panda 100hp as a hot hatch, the original golf gti didn't have mega power and nor did the 205 gti and they are still regarded quite highly as some of the best hot hatches of all time, the same can be said for the 106 gti/ saxo vts.

Most cars are faster than the stats suggest but you know as well as I do a Zetec S would kill your 1.2.

Im sure when the first Clio mk1's were produced they were still making the 5 alongside it as a 'campus' model as they are now doing with the MK2 and Mk3. Must of had loads of 5 boxes and engines left over!

I probably wouldn't have bought that kit but it doesn't look too bad i guess, the wheels and colour carry it off nicely. Well done for thinking outside the box, its refreshing to see a modded 1.2 that isn't a bloody rep.
