Think I paid around £300 for cambelt and waterpump on the 1.2, that was around about 50k but it was 5yrs old. Having said that though you can get a 1.2 16v engine and box off ebay for £100! I should have just nitroused up the old one and hoped for the best!

I would rather spend that money on a mint ph1 or 2, but I guess if you don't do many miles like me it would be a good buy.
Ring the garage that did the work they should be able to tell you.
If you do get it done again, don't bother with Renault as they will probably mess it up. Your best off taking it to a specialist depending on where abouts you are in the country.

They do a Mk2 ph1 Clio with the 1.2 16v engine and the Dynamique interior, these were the end of line models and normally on a Y plate and I believe they were called a Clio 'Sport'.
