True but thats irrelevant as standard Clio 1.2's of this type go for £2200, just because the ph1 172s have depreciated massively it doesn't mean the non rs models have.

Thats what I was thinking, I reckon i can sand it all off smooth etc but its the primering and painting that scares me!

Sod changing the seats on a car your not going to keep for ever, in my 1.2 I used to tension the seatbelt up before a spirited driver, or better still a cglock.

He probably means the Cup, which has Dynamique seats.
