Cool, I looked at one with an alloy bonnet and I said this bonnets light, laying a bit of bait for the dealer, he replies " yeah the whole front end is plastic, thats why Renault have such good crash safety" Lol.
Fair enough.
Looks completely original, good find with those miles and a fair...
tit or iceburg? Looking forward to some pics, they are such good fun for the money, I will be getting one this summer. Is this in addition to the bike or are you perservering (sp) with biking too.
I bet the Clio handles better, the Seat is probably quicker though I imagine, and your mate should of bought the facelift Ibiza, whoever desgined that one only had a ruler and a set square on them that day.
Good job we're on the same wave length! You got it for a good price and all the negative points are just asthetic, you won't have any problem shifting these bit on ebay.
Yeah stick the spare wheel in the garage and get a can of tyre foam! Defeats the object of a cup!
I too noticed the Remington grill, but I didn't want to rub it in after some of my other comments, cheap fix though the proper ones only £42 from Renault and some berk would probably pay the same on ebay for the cheese grater.
Thats a good price, needs standardising to be honest, as long as your happy with it, all those parts are sellable though.
I would stick the standard rear lights back on, with silvervision bulbs.
The exhaust is a little big which is a shame, but its worth a reasonable amount secondhand, I would...
I imagine its a last ditch attempt by Renault to flog the fields of MK2's they have left over. I expect the 'i music' model has had one of these new fangled cd players fitted!
In all seriousness I think it is just ipod connectivity, how that justifys a special edition I don't know, it should...
I did a vehicle check on the car in the vid: I thought the maxis were 1600cc.

I agree, in theory they are just as practical, they are both Clios. Im not sure about reliability, im sure if they are well maintained they are just as reliable as a mk2.
What more concerns me is that they are rare and almost a £4k supercar, if I had one I wouldn't want to park it on the road...
Its interesting that as you move further down the list the weight increases, yet the 0-60 gets quicker and quicker. Obviously there is a slight increase in BHP but not huge. I guess it must be the short ratios in these 6spd boxes.
I want complete honesty here, how many people have looked at Ali's Williams in this thread and then gone straight onto Pistonheads and autotrader to see if they can find one. I will admit to it!
What a mate, it was all down to him driving like a t**t. Paint stripper is abit harsh, I would be tempted to slash one of his tyres, or speak to his parents perhaps.
