Well the modded one is a cat c and I imagine for that price the 2005 one is also catergorised, so that is the going rate price wise. Your not going to make much if any money selling them on, unless you hide the fact its catergorized.
I would buy the unmodified one out of the two.
Its got nothing to do with stone chips, the bumper is more prone to stone chips than the bonnet and at this rate he will end up with a mint bonnet and a stone chipped bumper.

Your right, I think they are between 2.25 - 2.5 inches standard, it was getting confused with the rubber exhuast trim in the bumper that will take up to a 3.5 inch exhaust.

The front wing could well be knackered but even so why why break it, surely its worth more complete, its got the FF interior, and the mileage says 34k. Very strange.
I think they are 3.5inch standard, I wouldn't want to go any bigger than that to be honest and I don't think the twin pipes are the 182's finest point. Apart from looking abit wheelbarrow they make it look abit boy racer and you end up getting boy racers tailgating you and baiting you to floor...
