Yeah briefly, I didn't realise it was you at the time, I thought someone had bought there younger brother along!
The only way to tell who was who was by which car they got into and I parked mine next to pepsi's out the way because of its 4x4'ness!
Will have a chat next time, the FPM was looking...
Lol, you too mate, I will let you know on the Viper next week, I need to ensure i ve got a summer job first otherwise im ruined, I should know by late next week.
Alex
I would just get a well looked after 51/02 plate 1.2 16v, there are plenty about with under 50k, you should be able to pick one up for £3k, mine still feels new and has 58k on the clock, engines nicely loosened up too.
Im increasingly getting the impression you can't drive for s**t or your car is fecked! 190 miles from £40quids worth of fuel, roughly speaking thats about 23mpg!
Garmin Nuvi, never had a problem with it before to be honest, but I think it lost the satellites a few times hence the 154 top end and the fact it got us lost, it got me home ok though.
Was a great meet, sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone, it was good to put user names to faces.
My previously clean front bumper shows what a fun drive I had home, and according to my sat nav the 1.2 16v is quicker than i first thought, definatly something not quite right there think...
As Sam suggested I was going to re-route my filter to directly behind the grill, but im not sure the effect rain would have on this?
Im bored with the IK now anyway, its abit annoying when your slowly edging past someone on a DC and the IK is going baaaaaaaaaaammmmm and your hardly moving!
Get a Jubilee clip on there mate, someone on here had their K&N fall off I seem to recall and a bolt or part of bracket got sucked into the intake and caused abit of damage.
Motorway crusing the optimum speed is just under 60MPH. I tend to go 70MPH as that is 3500rpm and it uses much less fuel than at 80mph (4000rpm and reving its tits off).
The dash isn't as nice as a ph2 and like Taylor I would be going from a ph2 to a ph1. Its not too much of an issue as the seats are good and the rest of the interior is spot on, and like you say you spend most of the time looking out the window and your rear view mirror!
I like the idea of the user name on the car for meets and shows but im not sure about on the road. Mainly due to this tragic incident involving a Civic Type R meet: http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=377548&hw=10penceshort
The incident itself has been discussed to death on...
