its law of physics that the clio would win, power to weight ratio would be far superior, corsa 1.8's are circa 8 seconds to 60 so approximatly fiesta st pace to 60 and we know what happens there.
My mats are from costco and they're but thick american mats as a result, they're great mats but they don't allow me full throttle, i just slide them back if i want to have somne fun though, think of it as a fuel saving device.
looks pretty nice for an old astra, didnt know you couldget 130bhp out of an old 1.7 td. if you like modding your cars then why did u buy a 1.2 16v clio mate? surely this would be much faster with 130 ponies
thats like saying you would never buy a second hand car, its no difference atall, you don't know who/how it was driven before you as will the people who buy it off you, in this 10 days it may have been ragged but i bet every owner who has had it has ragged it.
IMO of course
according to this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RENAULT-CLIO-SPORT-2-0-172-CUP-BLUE_W0QQitemZ180241490678QQihZ008QQcategoryZ9861QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I mean why would anybody lie about something so badly it would take throttle bodies etc to make that sort of bhp even then i think they...
This is why we have uninsured drivers on our roads, insurance companys dont help atall. But in reality now you would get caught much quicker, get 6 points which would lose me my licence.
but as has been said above atleast i can build up ncb and then be able to get a nice car sooner than if i...
It looks like i'm going to have to pay circa £1600 F/C for my 1.2 16v which tbh i think is rediculous. Its a slow car thar isnt worth very much, i drive 7000 miles a year, its not modified in any way.
Then to realy take the p**s i will get stupid quotes of £3000+ and then the cheecky b**tards...
i disagree to be honest mate. I find that when joining motorways especially on uphill sliproads the 1.2 16v struggles to get up to speed quickly and comfortably.
Yesterday i went to join a roundabout rolling slowly at around 10-15 mph in 2nd i put my foot to the floor and nothing happened it...
100 has rear disks, also i believe the gearstick looks like the 1 from the megan, you need to look on ebay at 100's so you will reconise one, also the logbook should tell you as the c02 emmisions will be different between the two and this is stated on the logbook so you look for the c02 output...
what was your reasoning behind not going for it mate, comfort? it will still handle excelently without it so i wouldnt worrie, and then theres always coil overs.
see a few s3's around st helens, i wonk part time in maccies on the linkway and see a fair few, they are very nice, see rs6's and rs4's and everything in the drive through, it makes the job worthwile at times, when you think heres another corsa with a backbox from halfords and it comes to the...
awsome pics, not even 20 veyrons would get that much attention, must have been amazing. There must be a new hole in the ozone layer after that neet though
i'm getting 42.3 MPG at the moment, thats with a couple of 40 mile return trips and about 150miles of town driving short trips. Not too bad to be honest. Could be better though.
Off who though places like bell that are supose to be good have quoted things like 6K insurance realy p**ses me off its a lottery which makes it 10X's more annoying
yeh i'll have a good shop around, going to start saving up some of my wages soon aswell so will be getting a better car when i'm 20 with 2 years ncb. May aswell keep hold of mine untill i can get something good rather than skinting myself on something average.
182 ftw, should be able to get...
I'm 18 (well on thursday) Have been driving since september. Have a years ncb on a scooter. In a cat D postcode. Driving a 1.2 16v clio extreme 4 on a 55 plate. approx 8000 miles per year.
What would you consider a fair price for insurance, like a target price. I know obviously you cant give...
tail pipes look awsome imo, cant think of any other styles that would suit a 197. And about the 1.2 thing, yeh most people think that all clio's are 1.2's whether it be a williams, 172, 172 cup, V6, R27.......
was it crashed? if its just f**ked through lack of maintainance and care then you dont get an insurance payout. My mate thought he could claim if his car broke down lol
not sure about actual extra bhp but throttle response will improve and the engine will be more free revving. Consider getting a good induction kit as this will compliment it well.
I'm getting about late30's out of my 1.2 16v aswell mate, its not a problem with the car its the type of driving you do,i got over 50mpg on a motorway run, around town late 30's its pretty standard, done worrie about it or get deisel
Tbh anyone who doesnt claim for whiplash given an opertunity is stupid, its extreamly hard to prove whether you have it or not and its a guaranteed £1500+ after all if it was the other way around they'd claim off you.
direct line ftw! they accept motorcycle ncb so i can insure my 1.2 16V for 1500 @ 18, which is extreamly expensive on the whole but relitavely for my age pretty cheap.
