Re: No Compromise ph1 ITB build (Fastcar, BTM, TDF, RS Fab) - ITB update p77
I also have a set of genuine R.Sport Cup racer door handle spacers (brand new never used) in the garage I think... ;)

I ran the performance trim cards in my Clio, very good quality... A random photo from the road trip;
I changed my 172 clutch at 100,000 miles IIRC... and it still had plenty of friction material, it was the release bearing that caused me to go in and change the kit.
All down to how they are used (as Mr. Budgie points out ;) x)
Not too bad of a job... I've done 3 gearbox / clutch changes on 172's... 6hrs seems about right, if you know what your doing! :)
Clutch kit is around £90 - £100 for a Valeo
Gear oil £25 (please use decent and the correct grade oil!!)
you may well find other parts need replacing along the way...
Re: Bomber's Awesome Ph1 Track Slut
I tried using spacers / tabs on my original design.. but it didn't work, plus your putting alot of stress on a 1"~ square area which you are bolting to the floor pan.
Re: Bomber's Awesome Ph1 Track Slut
This kind of explains... (I assume your frames are similar?)
Remember to measure from corner to corner before you drill the holes to make sure they are square!
See below... ;)
