Turbo on a 172

Hi Guys. Just a quick question. is it possible to install a turbo to a RS Clio 172, and if so what performance enhancements would you get?

yes about 250bhp, costs a lot of K though. K-TEC or BB Tuning.

yes you can get it turbod k -tec & bb perforamnce have demo model 172 turbos they are around 260bhp.

pisses me of that ya can get a civic type r upto about that sort of power for less that half the cost of the clio. would have it done if it was £3000

Do a search on here, theres been loads of posts in power and mechanical, you might need to search further back than a month though as its not been mentioned in detail for a little while.

You could get as much power realistically as you want out of a 172 turbo engine just depends how much your willing to pay.
BB and K-tec will be askng about £6k for 260~270hp.
You could drop a VAG 1.8T or a Megan 2.0 turbo in for less though and youll get the better 6 speed boxes and an engine designed to to be turboed rarther than a N?A with aftermarket stuff.
