Sad to see it go but glad it went to a good home and will get used. The PMS is one of the very earliest ones, hence it not self centring and is stiff. I never bothered swapping the bearing out because i’d got used to it, but as others have said you can upgrade the bearing on it.

SC’s are much more reliable than turbos IMO. It’s been SC’d since 2014 so it’s done 8k or so on the charger without missing a beat.

@Dr Jekyll The primary reason is it doesn’t have 4 seats. So it never gets used. It’s unfortunate, but life has other priorities sometimes!

Whilst I agree that fitting a diff, ASTs and stripping it should be the way forward first. It’s utter b****cks to say you can’t use any more power than they have already. Mine puts its 250bhp down whenever I want, no dramas or problems whatsoever. Probably helped by the diff, ASTs, handling...

Great project this. I also went down the “clubsport” route with mine. Power wise, tbh those are good results. I wouldn’t mess about too much as I’m not sure the benefit is worth the cost unless you go into the charging route.
