Mate, they are talking about the ph1 172, you have posted pics of a ph2. IMO the ph1's are easily spotted as a sport, where the ph2's 172's are hard to see if they are actually 172's

To be honest im not sure I never ran mine as standard, but im sure one of the other guys will be able to say :) Id guess at 2.2-2.5 depending

^^ Agreed mate, its all in the launch, I need to work on mine, best 60ft time was 2.2 :(

To give you an idea matey, there were 2 other 172's there, one ran 15.0 the other 15.2 i think. Average was as Dan states around the 15sec mark, bearing in mind only has a cat back exhaust(cat is still in), itb's and 136,000 miles, I think with only 5 runs thats not a bad time :) Seems about...

Dial off 15odd KG's for the tyre as thats in with the curb weight

Also you have set the weight at 1200kg's, a non cup ph2 should be 1100kg's

Hi matey, thank you for the kind words! It was very warm, even with it not running and with the bonnet up I still couldnt get it to cool down, so I think you getting that time with how warm it was its bloody good :) Yours looked mint btw!

Unfortunately no mate, it would have been good to see, but from comparing it to others id estimate it to have done roughtly a 14.8-15 ish

only 5 or 6 mate (cant remember) it was ok in the morning, but got stupid busy in the afternoon, was waiting over an hour for a run, so gave up, stuffed myself full of hot dogs, watched from the stands then came home lol

Yeah was a bit weird it never got any lower, my hybrid ran 14.0 all day, but on the road there was nothing between them. Go figure lol
