Mines had near every noise going lol Check the stud that holds the gearbox mount is tight, well the nut on the bottom, under the mount should i say. They work loose and give the simptoms you describe

Is yours a ph1 or ph2 mate? ph1 has it mounted in the plenham, to the o/s of the coil pack, it has an electrical plug on it, a pipe off the bottom and 2 bolts holding it on. Ph2 doesnt have one.

A mate had one, completely slayed him in my MK1 Hybrid, and when my 172 was standard we were about equal. But it all comes down to driver ability and how healthy the engine is. Even the newest redtops are 18 yeads old now.

Pmsl!! No one means it n a nasty way mate, but the ones of us who have been into Clio tuning for a few years understand what is acheavable from the F4R in certain states of tune, and which companies tend to 'fib' about power figures - it is extremely easy to falsify a rolling road power run...

the oil pressure should be higher when cold, as the oil is thicker, the pressure will lower as the oil thins when it heats up. I wouldnt pay too much attention to the guage, they can have a mind of their own, if your worried, double check its got the correct oil in, then get it checked out...

Im just under 6ft 4 and fit no problem with my helmet on.

So the 250 is 7 secs quicker than the R26.R but Renault hasnt announced it? Im guessing they would be pretty happy and would have released a statement....... But then again, in the right hands the R26.R can break into the 7 min barrier......
