Yeah got to agree tbh, there performed well on track it was just there road manners weren't the best but hey there coilovers I guess. The build quality was good too an even though I never had mine serviced/refurbed a friend did an they were quick an reasonable price
Exactly what I was thinking, even though you don't see many valvers now days the ones you do see for sale don't seem to be fetching mega money even clean ones. Then the williams on the other hand are still fetching 2k plus for a half decent one.
At the end of the day a car is only worth what...
The stat could be stuck shut maybe, the heat in the hose could just be transfer from the engine instead of warm coolant. Try whipping the stat out an boiling it up in some water to see if it opens failing that the impeller could be not spinning on the water pump. As you said though try an see...
Personally I'd just keep it in good condition an enjoy it, maybe put it away for winter if you have another motor but I think the fact the clio is so useable makes it the car it is.
Mileage never really bothered me, providing it has well documented history an been looked after by enthuiasts an specialists an looks, sounds and goes good on the day I'll buy it. As for wheels I'd go for 15" with a 195/50/15 tyre, gives loads of choice when it comes to tyres an in my opinion...
Yeah sicaflex is the one, the window screens on the trains I work on are bonded in with the stuff. Little tip we found useful is to warm the cartridge up in boiling water before use, makes it alot easier to work with.
Well I've got rid of the stain, it was really doing me head in looking at it an as I was on me way home I passed old halfrauds so popped in an grabbed some auto glym interior shampoo cleaner stuff which seems to have done the job
Basically this morning I scraped me window on the trophy an when finished through the scraped in the car an it landed on the seat. It had some frost left on it but I didn't notice, now its marked the seat! What can I use to clean it? Cheers Dan.
Any of you guys got any experience with plastigage? An what are you opinions? Keep hearing of friends using it for checking bearing clearances as was wondering if its any good.
Yes they are abit awkward lol, as above though Ross what Martin said is right, the self adjuster should take up any slack unless that's fully adjusted I guess. How many miles has your car done?
Hids in incorrect headlights are f**king annoying, anyone who fits them what's there eyeballs pinned open an exposed to the light that comes off them until there retina's are burnt out!
Look around the bulkhead near the servo, it'll more then likely fit through somewhere there. If possible disconnect at both ends and attach something to your old cable (old speedo cables are good) then pull it through. Fit at both ends an reset the clutch rachet. The only Clio one I did was on a...
Looks good, as said this ones got to be kept alive haha. But it just goes to show with regular maintenance an all that these ddon't seem to cope with mileage to bad.
