I had gaz golds, they were alright an there customer services was good an refurbs are cheap an quick turn around. Did make the car skittish on the bumpy local b roads. Heard good things bout new space too.
Love these, think they look dead evil! I love the fact its big and practical yet still goes like stink an handles. Ideal for chucking all ya mates in an storming across Europe to the ring. That Numpty mike brewer did one on Wheeler dealers not so long ago
I had this problem on my old 197, especially in the cold weather. My pads turned out to be sticking to so I just made sure I kept the calipers carriers clean an copper slip on the pads an never had a problem again.
P.s you will need a winder, local machine mart or halfrauds will stock them
Just read through this whole thread, what an awesome project really good to see something different. Always had a soft spot for these since me next door neighbour used to have one when I was 5 years old! Your work looks good too, top marks for going at it like you have certainly staying tuned!
I'm not a big laptop/PC need but I recently brought a HP pavilion dv6 dre beats edition. Its Intel i5 processor, cracking but of kit tbh. Never had a problem with it an seems to handle what I use it for really well. Plus its brushed aluminium finish an light up hp logo look cool haha
tbh as long as where the o-ring seats is clean an debris free, o-ring is in good condition you can't go wrong. Just take your time an as a little test after spray abit of the soapy water around the injector seat an if the revs drop is not sealed
Looks clean enough though even if power claims are abit sceptical, seen a thread on this car clearly made by the new owner sounds like he got himself a nice example there.
