Like I said though, I ain't really bothered about the so call "image" like you were. Its a car, friends, family, work collegues an proberly 90% of the nation don't give a f**k about what I drive its just a car. Then theres the small minority that do an tbh it just shows how materialistic they are.
Tbh I aint that bothered if the "chavs" do take a shining to them, means there could be some cheap "track car donors". At the end of the day I am really not fussed what people think of my car or what image comes with it as I enjoy it, which I think is the most important thing! I can't see it...
Gave it a good clean an polish inside an out an check the essentials under the bonnet an had a good scout around ready for our trip up to middlesborough on christmas day

An I know which one I'd rather own, the 205 gti was one of the original hot hatchs hence the kudos that goes with it, the 106 gti although a cracking car in many ways it was the choice of your local ring road heros an heavily mass produced (not that the 205 wasn't) an theres still plenty of them...
Seen concourse for 10k plus but never 20! What's so special? Do love a good series 1 turbo though, my late uncle had one when I was about 4. It got pinched like so many others!
