if my memory serves me correctly, i think this is not an easy thing to do, youll be needing new wiring to meet the correct voltage for the double optic lights, correct me if i am wrong.
sounds like a good topic to me! dont know what my 172 is putting out yet, when do you reckon is the best time to have it tested? its on 2.8k now. Want to know how its run in.
what number are you phoning? and what did you have to supply? reg? or VIN too? (i am working in london at the mo and want to check mine but dont have the docs with me? will they tell me just off reg?
i have experienced a bit of trouble with some dealers not wanting to do work because my mk2 172 is an import. Its a simple as this, either take it to another dealer, or report them to RUK. Nuff Said.
mine is exactly the same. 2.6K so far. Its going into Renault in about two weeks to have the front bumper removed, headlight completely changed, glovebox fixed, and wheel, brake and suspension checked on right hand side of car.
Sometimes when taking a right hand turn (or just turning right) i can hear quite a loud scraping noise (sounds like metal against metal) coming from the right hand side of the car (brand new 2.5K mile Mk2 172). Anyone got any ideas as to what it could be? (It sounds as if it is something like...
IMHO there is nothing to think about between the Cup and the norm 172, and if you can haggle a price with a Renault dealer or buy on import you can easily get a proper 172 for the price of a cup. Then youve got all the added extras for no extra price, sure if you get a cup sitting at the lights...
losing the leather is a BIG no no for me, the fuller 172 is so smart and nice inside, i couldnt give a sh*t if it is 10ths of a second slower, a fast car is a fast car, and i love my leather seats and air con to death.

ive been away from mine for 3 weeks now (having only had it a month previously) and when i first clapped eyes on it tonight i had a grin from ear to ear and i hadnt even unlocked it. Nuff said.

id be careful if i were you mate, the sport badge is just stuck on but i believe the Renault badge isnt, im sure it has two sticks on it that go into holes in the lid.
