Anyone think they know

Sometimes when taking a right hand turn (or just turning right) i can hear quite a loud scraping noise (sounds like metal against metal) coming from the right hand side of the car (brand new 2.5K mile Mk2 172). Anyone got any ideas as to what it could be? (It sounds as if it is something like the brake pad catching against the disc, but im honestly not sure?

If its new, then take it back to your supplying dealer.

Could be the wheels catching on the calipers if theyre not correctly lined up and you have it on full lock?? I have chips on the inside of my alloys where the calipers used to catch on full lock before I had them adjusted. Just a possibility.

could be a wheel bearing? but since its new, take it back and get it fixed for free.

no its just when i take a normal right turning, not when on full lock
