Yeah, cylinder 5 is a bit awkward because of the strut brace but it was fine and dandy with a littler extension for the socket.
Those dickheads at ECP gave me the wrong filter (can see on the photo) so I had to use the clio to head down...
So this happened last night;
Which meant I got my garage back. Just in time to do some bits and bobs on the bargain BM.
It's running better, hesitation has gone and it's much smoother.
Other than that, little to report. I still love it as a daily.
My advice would be get the billies. They have been faultless on mine.
I am swapping to ASTs but only because mine has become less road and more track, as opposed to vice versa.
Mine will be up for £350 in a month or so.

Camber / toe: start with -2.5 and 10mins of toe on the front. Keep rear as it came out of factory, or the -1 shims will be fine. (They leave the factory -1 anyway I believe, so you're technically running -2). With the Whiteline as stiff as it gets it will be livelier, but...
There is a guy on here with a silver ph1 who has them. Let me find the thread.
I personally think they look pap on anything other than a BTCC car.

I'd check the brakes too. Looks like the rear locked under hard braking. Because it's the rear, you wouldn't overly notice fade etc as 90 per cent or so is done through the front.
It will sit low enough, even stripped. As you know, mine is stripped;
In fact, mine sits low enough it currently scrubs on 205s, 16mm spacers and the RC kit. Not good.
They are brilliant road / track coilies which will be much better than springs performance wise.
