Fred, mines always sat just under half way (unless stopped in traffic), are ph1's different, or should it sit a bit higher? I found my limiter today, approx 7800 rpm lol, never took it above 7500 rpm on the dyno, but only drops slightly to 190 bhp at 7500 :D Could probably do with a bit more...

The engine is stronger, it has close ratio box, lighter, no stereo, wind up windows, 5th injector (though its non functioning) Thats if its a classic chape

Found this hinding covered in dust in a barn,still attached to its box, along with many other lost items (Yes it does belong to someone lol) Is this engine anything decent? Not up to spec on Jap engines :o

its about 14nm from memory, i just nip them up, as Danny and Fred have said, you get a feel for when they are tight enough

No it shouldnt affect it, as it doesnt read lambda on full throttle iirc (unless im pissed)
